Power Team high-pressure hoses and hydraulic couplings

Working pressure is not burst pressure

The Power Team catalogue distinguishes hose constructions and sometimes additionally specifies a burst pressure. This test value is not a permitted working pressure. System assembly uses the approved working-pressure limit of every component.

A long or narrow hose can affect flow behaviour. We therefore consider hose length and inside diameter together with the required oil flow and cylinder return.

Match coupling systems and connection threads

For cylinder applications, the catalogue lists, among others, screw couplings 9796 and 9798 and complete coupling 9795. There is also a separate flat-face family numbered 9792, 9793 and 9794.

Equal pressure ratings do not automatically mean mechanical interchangeability. Thread, seal material, coupling family and connection side are therefore checked separately. Photos of existing couplings help identify them.

A complete hose enquiry

Specify the required length, both connection ends and existing equipment. If the hose is installed in a moving or confined location, a routing photo helps. Dust protection is part of the planning so that unused connections stay clean.

Important for your enquiry

• What length and working pressure are required?
• Which couplings and threads are present at both ends?
• How is the hose routed in the working area?
