Multi-point hydraulics: Power Team eSync and LM4

eSync with position feedback

The manufacturer catalogue lists eSync as a multi-point motion control system with linear position sensors. One unit has four double-acting hydraulic points. According to the catalogue, several units can be connected to form a larger system.

The sensors supply position information to the controls. Configurations without a pump are offered, as well as combinations with a mains-powered PE55 or battery-powered PB43. The specific version is selected according to load points, travel and power supply.

LM4 with four monitored connections

LM4 is documented as a portable control module for up to four cylinders. The catalogue distinguishes LM4S-E for single-acting and LM4D-E for double-acting applications. Four gauges display the pressures of the connected circuits.

The LM4 catalogue page does not describe automatic position control as provided by eSync. A pressure display is not a travel measurement; LM4 is therefore not presented here as an equivalent replacement for a sensor-controlled synchronous lifting system.

From loading conditions to the control concept
